Since 1967, the Stone Arch Players of Lewistown, Pa. have been entertaining audiences in central Pennsylvania with a diverse offering of popular and critically-acclaimed theatrical productions.

"Cactus Flower," "See How They Run," "The Odd Couple," "Steel Magnolias," "Deathtrap," "The Boys Next Door," "Bus Stop" and "Nunsense" are among the many comedies, dramas, mysteries and musicals presented by the Stone Arch Players over the years.

Our History

Founded as the Mask and Wig Community Theater, the troupe later renamed itself after the Stone Arch Bridge, a local historical landmark which became part of the group's emblem. Our logo!

The Stone Arch Players stage major productions every fall, winter and spring. Eight performances of each show are presented in the 110-seat Theatre-in-the-Park in Derry Township Community Park with ample free parking. Tickets are modestly priced and we welcome group sales.

Become a Patron!

As a non-profit organization, the Stone Arch Players would not flourish without the financial support of generous patrons. For their tax deductible contributions, each patron receives six complimentary tickets that can be used throughout the theatrical season. Patrons may also make advance reservations for choice seating. To learn more about supporting the Stone Arch Players, please go to the About Us section.

Join Us!

The Stone Arch Players have thrived since 1967 thanks to the efforts of dedicated members of the community who volunteer their time and talents in creating the best theatrical entertainment possible. Although the actors are the most visible members of a community theater, a successful show also involves many other people working behind the scenes.

Everyone's contribution is equally important, whether it be building sets, selling tickets, ushering, setting props, running lights and sound, directing, stage managing, producing, costuming, or doing make-up.

If you are interested in any aspect of theater and would like information on how to join the Stone Arch Players, simply contact us by email or our mailing address listed on the Contact Us page.
